On 14 January 2022, ENTSO-E and the EU DSO submitted the draft network code for cybersecurity to ACER. ACER will review the draft in the following six months and give their opinion to the commission. Afterwards, the commission will start the comitology process to adopt the network code as a law. Their goal is to have the network code go into force in 2023.
The network code was changed on several points based on the public consultation. But there are still some big issues that need to be resolved. This whitepaper reviews these changes and open issues.
