Just like in previous years, ENCS is organizing a series of webinars to keep you up to date on cybersecurity developments at the EU level that will affect grid operators and to introduce you to new topics we have been working on in our programs. During the webinars, ENCS will present a topic and, if attendees want to ask any questions or discuss something, they will have the opportunity to do so.

The webinars are held every Wednesday at 11:00 CEST. Each is an hour long and is open to ENCS members only. The table below shows the schedule for the upcoming webinars. ENCS members can find more information below. Please, contact info@encs.eu to register.

DateWebinarDescription
9 September 2026Product regulation update (1)During this webinar, which continues our series of regulatory update sessions, we will provide an update on the ongoing standardization work for the harmonized standards of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) developed by CEN/CENELEC and ETSI. In this context, ENCS has prepared a CRA roadmap for TSOs and DSOs and, since 2026, has participated in the standardization groups developing the standards for hardware devices with security boxes and for smart meter gateways. We will share the latest developments from these efforts during the session.
23 September 2026AI in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)This webinar explores how AI can support practical secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) activities, from resolving build errors and generating SBOMs to issue triage. We will examine where AI can reduce manual effort, what level of expertise is still required, and how frontier and local LLMs compare in practice.
7 October 2026Substation securityTBD
21 October 2026Central OT systems securityAs part of our Security Architecture Program for 2026, we continue our work on securing OT systems by looking into how to effectively secure the multiple systems that make up the central OT systems. The central system is tasked with supporting, managing, and maintaining the systems that support critical processes, protecting it is also key to secure these processes. This webinar will visit insights gained from our threat analysis work that is currently ongoing for the whitepaper on securing central OT systems.
4 November 2026Connection between system operators and DERDistributed energy resources (DER) are now a prevalent topic amongst grid operators as they are increasingly being installed and connected to power grid systems. In this webinar, we will discuss the design and implementation challenges related with connecting power grid systems with DERs.
18 November 2026AI regulationsContinuing our work on AI for grid systems, we will will analyse legal requirements and standards as part of our Security Policy Program in 2026. In this webinar, we will look at the existing and emerging regulations on AI that are of relevance to TSOs and DSOs that we have identified in our analysis.
2 December 2026Supply chain securityEnsuring the security of the supply chain is a priority for grid operators, and it is reflected in recent and upcoming regulations. Hardware supply chain is complex and dynamic, making it hard to secure it. During this webinar we present the work ENCS has been doing as part of the 2026 program to define the threats to the hardware supply chain for substation equipment.
16 December 2026Product regulation update (2)We will close the 2026 webinars with our series of regulatory update sessions, where we will provide an update on the ongoing standardization work for the harmonized standards of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) developed by CEN/CENELEC and ETSI. In this context, ENCS has prepared a CRA roadmap for TSOs and DSOs and, since 2026, has participated in the standardization groups developing the standards for hardware devices with security boxes and for smart meter gateways. We will share the latest developments from these efforts during the session.
