ENCS has held the 11th Security Roundtable on the 7th May 2019. It was hosted by the Latvian DSO Sadales tīkls in Riga. The ENCS roundtable brings together security experts at grid operators to share information in a trusted group. The twelfth edition was attended by 14 experts from 10 grid operators.
The main topic discussed was the continuing development of OT security monitoring. Following the ENCS member project on monitoring in 2017, many members have now deployed specialised sensors in their OT networks. Participants shared experiences on how to use these sensors effectively. The presentations are available to ENCS members through the portal.
To close the roundtable, the participants visited the ST testing lab and underground nuclear bunker, with a Soviet era control centre inside.
