IPTO hosts ENCS Security Roundtables in Greece

Last October, ENCS members and partners gathered at the biannual ENCS roundtables hosted by IPTO in Athens, Greece.

The 20th Security Roundtable, on 7 October 2025, brought together over 20 grid security experts from all across Europe. At the roundtable, ENCS members shared knowledge and experience on a variety of topics including regulation updates, risk of consumer IoT devices, supply chain security, as well as risk management, physical security, and training. We closed the day with a visit to the IPTO SOC.

In the 6th Security Architecture Roundtable, on 8 October 2025, security architecture experts discussed their needs and challenges, updates on regulations, virtualization and containerization in the field, and communications with external systems. To finish the day, all participants enjoyed a cultural visit around the Acropolis.

The 8th SOC Analyst Roundtable took place on 9 October 2025 and was attended by SOC analysts from the ENCS community, who shared experiences and discussed their needs and challenges. Topics included monitoring and incident response, SOC resources, and skills. We returned to the IPTO SOC to close the day.
