The ENCS General Assembly has approved a new business plan covering the period 2021-2025 during its meeting on 11 February 2021. The business plan aims to ensure a steady growth for ENCS, so that it can continue to deliver high value to its members and continue to improve the quality of its services. To achieve this growth, the business plan builds on the business model developed from 2015 to 2020.
In the 2015-2020 period, the ENCS members, team and leadership have converted ENCS from a small association in 2015, into a valued cybersecurity competence centre for the European energy grid, with 30 members and partners and DSO and TSO members serving more than 100 million connected households and business. ENCS managed to bring collaboration into practice across DSO and TSO experts and public authorities, resulting in a unique community of OT security experts and best practices.
In the new business plan ENCS will continue to build on this successful business model and grow the association. Knowledge development is organized in a structured way in the Security Policy, Architecture, and Operations Programs. Partnerships with DSO and TSO associations will be strengthened to further grow the membership community, especially in TSOs and small DSOs. New services will be developed for training and testing to meet the evolving needs of members.
The General Assembly appointed Anjos Nijk as General Managing Director and Maarten Hoeve as Technology Managing Director from 1 February 2021 until 1 February 2026.
