ENCS and ENEXIS partnered up for a Security Architecture training, in which consultants were given the knowledge to design secure smart grid systems, in particular for high and medium voltage substations.
The programme took place on November 1st in Arnhem, and it included modules on risk-based-architecture design as well as practical use cases such as distribution automation and high voltage substations.
The security architecture training is based on practical cases to give students directly applicable knowledge for their role. In groups of three or four, participants were given an OT security challenge and were tasked with designing a solution.
