Today, 12 February 2026, ENCS is hosting, in collaboration with TUDelft and Enexis, a cybersecurity incident response training, as part of our work for the COCOON project. COCOON (Cooperative Cyber protection for modern power grids) is a Horizon Europe-funded initiative aimed at developing practical cyber-physical protection solutions for modern, digitalized power and energy systems.
In today’s session, participants will use the digital substation setup and the Control Room of the Future (CRoF) from TUDelft to work through a realistic operational scenario and actively practice cybersecurity incident response procedures. A special focus is placed on bridging the gap between operational and security teams, fostering stronger coordination and communication to help recognize cybersecurity incidents that might initially appear as operational issues. The session also aims to enhance decision-making under pressure and raise overall cybersecurity awareness.
