Elektrilevi hosts ENCS Security Roundtables in Tallinn

The biannual ENCS roundtables were held in Tallinn, Estonia, on 14, 15, and 16 May 2024, hosted by Elektrilevi and in collaboration with World Bank’s Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP).

The 17th Security Roundtable, on 14 May 2024, brought together over 35 grid security experts from all across Europe. At the roundtable, ENCS members shared knowledge and experience on a variety of topics including incidents, preparing for the NIS2 implementations and risk assessment methods.

In the 3rd Security Architecture Roundtable, on 15 May 2024, security architecture experts discussed in-depth product security requirements and securing digital substations.

The 5th SOC Analyst Roundtable took place on 16 May 2024 and was attended by SOC analysts from the ENCS community, sharing experiences and discussing their needs and challenges. Topics included how to gain visibility of OT systems, requirements for procuring OT sensors and specific needs for threat analysis.
