On May 18, the ENCS Assembly gathered in Paris to discuss strategic questions and priorities for next year’s security programs.
Anders Pedersen, Senior Energy Specialist at World Bank, shared impressions on how trends are evolving and how opportunities for further collaboration were explored.
Besides raising interest for global collaborations, the Assembly discussed growing interest by various interest groups to participate in the ENCS community, including governmental organisations, transport infrastructure operators and manufacturers in EV charging and high power IoT domains.
Particular attention was dedicated to the identified risks associated with high power consumer IoT and the challenges to find clear ownership for urgently needed structural cybersecurity testing and vulnerability handling programs for high power consumer IoT.
