We are looking for someone taking their first steps in security to work in the ENCS smart grid security architecture program and related consulting projects.

Job description

As a junior security consultant, you will contribute to the ENCS security architecture program deliverables and participate in consultancy projects for ENCS members across Europe. The ENCS security architecture program aims to develop and share knowledge to security architects and others responsible for technical security measures. You will do this by contributing to the design of secure systems and to set security requirements. These will be used to procure secure components or to improve existing ones, including SCADA systems, RTUs and smart meters.

You will also give support to other security programs and services, involving security testing, security training and our interaction with official National and European bodies.

We have strong and trusted collaborative relationships with our members and partners, going beyond the traditional customer/ supplier relationship. We are colleagues working together towards a more secure and better world. This means trusted information sharing, including ideas and concerns, and finding and addressing opportunities for improvement. Often, we do this remotely, but it also involves traveling within Europe.

You will report to the manager and get support from a mentor guiding and supervising your work. ENCS offers a career path starting from junior via senior until principal consultant.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Gather information and perform research
  • Support senior consultants in organizing meetings and workshops
