ENCS offers trainings for both specialists with a focus on security, and other employees.
Trainings for OT security specialists
ENCS offers two in-depth course for roles specializing in the security of operational technology (OT) systems:
- A training for security operations analysts: teaches how to detect vulnerabilities and incidents in OT systems.
- A training for security architects: teaches how to select technical security measures for OT systems.
The training sessions are open to all ENCS members, so that specialists can meet and learn from each other.
Trainings for other functions dealing with OT security
ENCS offers trainings for anyone who encounters OT security in their work, but is not specializing in it. These are:
- Awareness sessions: sessions demonstrating the security risks in OT systems. The sessions can be tailored to specific groups, from top management to engineers in the field.
- Red Team – Blue Team training: team-based training in which you can experience a cyber-security incident. The training simulates attack and defense in a realistic grid operator environment.
- Trainings for engineers (under development): trainigns that show engineers working in substations the security risks to their systems, and teach them how they can mitigate those.
