On 27 and 28 September, ENCS organized its third security operations training. The training teaches analysts how to manage vulnerabilities, and detect and respond to incidents in operational technology (OT) systems. Participants learn how different use cases can be used to mitigate different risks, and practice analyzing vulnerabilities and incidents in hands-on exercises.
The training was attended by security specialists from ENCS members Alliander, Elektrilevi, Enexis, Innogy, KNG, and ST, looking to improve the security monitoring for their OT systems. The students highly appreciated the practical exercises, and the opportunity to share information with their peers at other grid operators.
