Netbeheer Nederland, the organisation for electricity and gas operators in the Netherlands, joined the European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS) last week, as well as signing a memorandum of understanding on knowledge and experience sharing.
Netbeheer Nederland has actively been looking at cyber security in energy networks for some time already, having set up a special cyber group for network operators to discuss their approaches. The collaboration with ENCS underlines this commitment to security, and helps the group formulate quality standards for its members.
Though several large network operators were already members of ENCS, now all Dutch network operators can access ENCS’ expertise via Netbeheer Nederland.
