On February 7th 2017 ENCS held its annual General Assembly meeting in Amsterdam, assessing progress in 2016 and looking forward to the year ahead.
ENCS had a very successful past year, doubling the number of DSO members and seeing a broad adoption of ENCS security requirements across the member community and standardization groups.
ENCS tested more than 30 different meters and a number of data concentrators and head-end systems. It was also a successful year for collaboration: ENCS embarked on an all-member OT security monitoring project, Distribution Automation security requirements were put into practice, ENCS worked with Elaad on Electric Vehicle Charging security and various research and training projects were delivered.
In 2017 the focus is on expanding the expert team and network, supporting standardization efforts and sharing both ENCS content and identified vulnerabilities more widely across the network.
